Selecting a residential addiction treatment programme can be an anxious process. Our aim is to make the whole process as simple and easy as possible, ensuring you make the right choice for your or your loved one’s care.

Our specialist and experienced team of Admissions Coordinators are available 24/7 to help you through every step of our 5 Step Admission Process. Our admission coordinators are employed by and work only for Ocean Recovery Centre (Step One Recovery) avoiding the high commission fees charged by third parties; this ensures every penny of your money is spent on your recovery.

Selecting the right clinic and addiction treatment package is essential. We understand that this is a big leap and a significant financial investment.

From experience, some clients and their families like to discuss the programme and process face-to-face with one of our team, before they make the commitment to joining one of our addiction programmes. We can either come to you* or you are welcome to visit Ocean Recovery Centre.

Assessment Service: at Home or at the Centre?

We provide the option to have a face-to-face discussion about treatment options and a preliminary assessment in the comfort of your own home*. This can make a big difference and will help put you or your family member at ease and can provide additional security with the privacy and safety of the home.

A home assessment normally takes longer than a regular assessment on the phone and could possibly involve multiple family members. This is to help all involved understand the process and the treatment. This can take up to 2 hours to complete if you and your family are happy with the arrangements made there and then for admission.

We are also very happy for the assessment to take place at a neutral location of your choosing.

Please note the meeting location needs to be within a 50-mile radius of Ocean Recovery Centre. Additional fees will be incurred if outside of this radius.

If you prefer, we can carry out the assessment at Ocean Recovery Centre in Blackpool. This can give you an opportunity to see the centre and experience the treatment centre first-hand. This service is FREE and can help you make your decision.

Whatever assessment services you use, you are under no obligation.
