Ocean Recovery is part of the new Step One Recovery. Step One Recovery is made up of a collection of drug rehab and alcohol rehab facilities in the UK, leading the way in the supply of Private and Residential Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Treatment.

Our first treatment facility, Cassiobury Court, opened in 2011 and is based in Watford, London. Since then, the group has steadily developed and provides excellent care and treatment programmes for anyone struggling with their addiction to drugs or alcohol.

Building on our success, in 2015 the Step One Recovery opened its doors to clients from the North of England at our new facility, Ocean Recovery & Wellness Centre.

Dr Lapa graduated in Medicine in 2000 and since this time has accrued much experience working in the widest range of psychiatric settings with differing illness presentations and backgrounds in inpatient, community and secure settings. This has been aligned to continuation of professional development at postgraduate level in clinical research which has been very closely related to the everyday clinical practice conducted by this practitioner as a NHS and Private Psychiatrist.
He is fully indemnified by the Medical and Dental Defence Union of Scotland (MDDUS) and MIAB Expert Insurance for Psychiatric and Private Medical practice. He is fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) in the UK with a licence to practice.
